Every Sunday brings a fresh opportunity to plant seeds that may one day bear lasting fruit. Since the beginning of 2026, the children of St. John’s Church have continued to grow in their knowledge of God through worship, learning, and fellowship. The year began with lessons on the Ten Commandments, taught in English to help the children understand God’s guidance for everyday life. Alongside these lessons, they committed Bible verses to memory, allowing Scripture to take root in their hearts from an early age. As Easter approached, preparations took on a joyful rhythm. The children learned Easter songs and practised dances that became part of the congregation’s celebration of Christ’s resurrection. Their participation reminded the whole church that children are not simply the future of the Church—they are an active part of its life today. From March through July, attention turned to the Girls’ Friendly Society (GFS), where young members faithfully studied the Society’s lessons and learned the GFS Prayer and Anthem in English. Week by week, their confidence grew, reflecting both spiritual and personal development. Looking ahead, the children are eagerly preparing for the Bishop’s forthcoming pastoral visit. Their enthusiasm reflects a community that continues to nurture young believers with love, patience, and hope.
