Christian unity is most clearly seen when believers gather around the Lord’s Table, recognising that although they may belong to different congregations or traditions, they share one faith in Christ.

This spirit of fellowship was beautifully demonstrated through the ministry shared between the Anglican Church and the Christian Temple Community (CTC), a congregation largely made up of Nuer Christians.

With the blessing of the church’s overseer based in Kakuma, Rev. Peter Ajang undertook a three-month programme of Bible teaching for members of the congregation. Week after week, believers gathered to deepen their understanding of God’s Word, strengthening both their faith and their commitment to Christian service.

The programme concluded with a joyful graduation ceremony, during which participants received certificates from Favour Africa International Ministries. It was a moment of thanksgiving, celebrating not only the completion of a course but also the spiritual growth it represented.

The celebration reached its highest point when members of the congregation requested to receive Holy Communion together. Responding to their invitation, Rev. Peter welcomed Rev. Christopher Mutati to preside over the sacrament. More than seventy believers gathered around the Lord’s Table in an act of shared worship that transcended denominational boundaries.

Church leaders expressed deep gratitude for the partnership, Bible teaching, and pastoral support that had strengthened their fellowship. Their overseer in Kakuma also shared his joy upon hearing how believers had been encouraged through this ministry of cooperation and mutual care.
